Gielinor (no, not Gaylinor for those of you who are perverted and love one-liners that use the word "gay"), also known as RuneScape, is the place where the game RuneScape takes place.

Gielinor is made up of one huge landmass as well as various islands on which not much tends to happen.

There are nine main kingdoms: Misthalin, Asgarnia, Morytania, Kandarin, Wilderness, Kharidian Desert, Tirannwn, Karamja and the Fremennik Province. The first two are popular with noobs who are imprisoned by the danger of the surrounding lands. Any ramscandral with a dagger and a shield may feel an urge to visit the other lands.
